Anar Mammadov is a partner with the firm. Prior to joining BONAFIDE, Anar held various leading positions mostly in state bodies including the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministry of Justice, and the Appeal Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Anar specializes in criminal law, administrative law, international public law, commercial law, and civil law. He is also competent in various fields of Russian law.

Anar is an expert in international criminal law, especially in extradition cases.

Anar is a member of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan and is permitted to represent clients in all court proceedings, including the Supreme Court and Constitutional Court.

Anar holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and a master’s degree in Criminal Law from Baku State University. He was a trainee and a contributor at various specialized legal trainings and courses organized by leading European Universities.

Anar is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English.
